UMD staff and faculty who hold a master's degree or higher and want to help new students make a successful transition to academic and student life on our campus may be able to teach one or two credits of UST 1000 in an academic year. A call for instructors is announced each spring. The UST 1000 coordinator provides all instructors with in-depth training, an outlined syllabus, and a Canvas site with teaching materials and structured assessments.
